Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for an ALM Actuary for an initial 6-month contract-based London/Bristol/Edinburgh with a hybrid model.
Purpose of the Role:
The role is within the Shareholder ALM/Capital and Liquidity team as support to deliver on changes required as a result of Solvency UK implementation in 2024.
The primary focus of the role is to work across teams to update processes and tools to reflect changes in regulation as a result of the various Solvency UK updates.
As an ALM Actuary, you will be responsible for:
- Delivery of processes and tool changes to reflect changing regulation.
- Improvements in monitoring tools to enhance capabilities and include any requirements.
- Provide regular updates to senior management.
- Highlight any other areas for improvement which may appear when working through the updates.
- Provide insight to market risks.
What we require from the candidate:
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate with a range of customers.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good understanding of ALM and MAP regulation.
- Understanding of Solvency II and Solvency UK regulation.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Previous experience in ALM/Capital would be an advantage.
