Job Title: Building Surveyor

Venn Group has been approached by a Housing Association in West Yorkshire to recruit for a Building Surveyor on a 6 month contract with the potential of going permanent.

As the successful candidate you will have experience working as a Surveyor within Social Housing.

The duties will include:

• Complete full property surveys in the North and East of Leeds 
• Produce a Schedule of Rates in accordance with National Federated Schedule of Rates Codes on Empty Homes 
• Carrying out the HHSRS inspections 
• Work alongside repairs team to ensure works are completed on time 
• Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures is followed correctly  
• Complete inspections & reports daily

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a building surveyor within Social Housing
• HNC or HND qualification
• Experience using National Federated Schedule of Rates Codes 
• Own transport
