There is a new role with a Hedge Fund in London, looking for a SQL Data Developer with experience in Perl Scripting to work on a large-scale Regulatory Reporting change programme.

The Fund are building a new platform for Reg Reporting, focused on Microservices and Cloud Computing at scale. They need to deliver a managed exit of the Legacy system whilst maintaining BAU over the course of the next year or so.

The existing environment is a mixture of Oracle, Sybase, PostgreSQL, Big Data/Hadoop and SQL Server database, maintained with Perl scripts and SQL code.

They are looking for an experience SQL Data Developer to manage the existing reporting systems and ensure BAU is optimised, with a focus on SQL development and Perl Scripting.

You must have the following skills and experience to be considered:

• Extensive background in SQL Development
• Experience in Perl Scripting
• General RDBMS knowledge spanning various database technologies
• Any regulatory reporting experience is preferred but not essential

Rate is negotiable up to 550/day inside IR35, working 4 days per week in office.
