Midlands based contractor are looking for a freelance Assistant/Site Manager required for 14 week pub refurbishment project to work in coordination with contractors own Site Manager. As project isn't local to company and Site Manager they are looking for an individual to be locally based to project in order to coordinate and supervise subcontractor trades/labour contractors in absence of Site Manager, project is a full internal refit/refurbishment of an existing pub so previous experience working on these types of schemes would be preferred other than that working on high spec internal refurb schemes will be considered. Main core role will be to be there to supervise/coordinate all subcontractor packages ensuring that labour is inducted, health & safety is adhered to as well as assisting with the daily management for the scheme to ensure programme deadline and handover is achieved on time and snag free to client. Must be from a joinery background and also hold CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates
