TEMP TO PERM

Local authority in the Nottinghamshire area are looking for a compliance surveyor to join their housing property compliance team.

This role can be temp or temp to perm depending on suitable candidates availability.

Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of this role is to provide specialist knowledge to ensure the statutory and regulatory compliance of the Councils domestic assets within the Housing, Health & Wellbeing Directorate, ensuring that the Council consistently fulfils its duty of care towards its tenants and other customers.

The role will have responsibility for the appointment and direct management of a number of specialist contractors and at times our own in-house technicians, ensuring that all of the Councils legislative and regulatory requirements are continually met in relation to:

* Asbestos Management
* Fire safety
* Water Hygiene
* Gas safety
* Mechanical and electrical safety
* Lifts
* Roof top and building access

Rates are negotiable
37 hours per week
Perm salary circa 38,000
Agile working
Local government pension scheme ( perm )
