KDB, Python, Unix, eTrading, Front Office

My client are a leading investment bank based in London. We are looking for a KDB Developer to join a front office trading team directly supporting quants and traders. The initial 6-month engagement will focus primarily on building and deploying development environments/ frameworks that will allow analysis of real-time market data.

This is an initial 6-month engagement via umbrella with further extensions highly likely. Only candidates able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship will be considered. The role will be 3 days per week onsite in London

Required skills:

- 3+ years experience specifically as a KDB+ Developer (we are open to mid-level or senior candidates)

- Unix

- Knowledge of API design

- Good understanding of large datasets

Nice to have:

- Prior financial services experiences, particularly within electronic trading (eTrading)

- Knowledge of either C#, Python or Java
