Global Technology Centre (GKN) are recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician who will be working on the exciting new H2GEAR project -working on the construction of hydrogen based electrical propulsion systems. This role will be paying 23.00 per hour PAYE (weekdays) , 12 months in duration although likely to be extended/long-term.

The client, based near Filton, Bristol, are eager to hear from those with strong dextrous/hands on skills. Those from electrical or mechanical backgrounds would be suitable.

Manufacturing Technician - essential experience required:
1. You will have good dextrous skills and perform tasks to a high standard
2. You will have an awareness of the technology level strategy and GKN s product portfolio.
3. You will have an adaptable/flexible approach to work willing to take on new challenges.
4. You will be a strong self-starter, able to execute tasks according to plan.
5. You will have good interpersonal skills and be a good team player.

Desirable :
1. Assembly skills
2. Familiarisation with electrical works , joining techniques , soldering - desirable but not essential
