Experis are working alongside a government client seeking a PMO Lead (Programme Management Office Lead) within the Technology team.

The Programme Management Office Lead (PMO) is responsible for running the programme office for two strategic transformation programmes sponsored by our Executive Leadership Team. Working closely with the Programme Managers, the PMO will enable the programmes to deliver the approved outcomes and benefits to time, quality, and cost, and in accordance with appropriate governance frameworks and processes.

This is a senior role requiring extensive knowledge of how programmes are delivered, ability to challenge and lead conversations with senior stakeholders and support the programme managers in driving delivery

Essential:

• Organisational and planning skills;
• Knowledge of and experience of project and programme management processes;
• Being able to multi-task and prioritise;
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project
• Excellent communication skills, - written, verbal, and representative;
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong personal effectiveness and pro-activity;
• Good analytical skills and ability to represent complex landscapes in simple diagrams, tables, dashboards and reports.

Desirable:

Project and/or Programme Management qualification [Prince II and/or MSP or equivalent];
