Within the role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various BI systems and technologies that enable data-driven decision-making and insights.
- Working with an established team of data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver scalable and robust solutions.
- You will also create and maintain data warehouses and data lakes, dashboards, reports, and data models that support various business functions and objectives.
- You will work for the Head of Data and collaborate with the business on the delivery of data products utilising an Agile framework.
The contract is initially 3 months with extensions, outside IR35 and is remote-based.
For this opportunity, you will need:
- Experience with Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of data lakes, lake houses and preferably working with delta lake/tables Proficient in SQL and data warehousing technologies, such as Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Experience in data visualisation and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Experience gathering data requirements. Experience in programming languages, such as Python, R, or Java.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
