Role: HRA Group Accountant

Type: 6-month interim contract

450 to 550 per day

Fully Remote

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a HRA Group Accountant for our Local Authority client.

This role will play a pivotal role in budget setting, providing technical expertise and support on budget areas. You will be responsible to identify, analyse and report on the financial statements of the organisation's projects.

Key responsibilities for the HRA Group Accountant are;

  • Support opportunities to transform the delivery of financial services across the organisation
  • Ensuring the delivery of the project objective within the timescale and agreed budget
  • Providing Monthly reporting, analysis and insight.
  • To ensure the organisations long-term treasury position
  • Oversee and assist with capital programme updates
  • Supporting the HRA Business Plan and related model.

The Ideal candidate for the HRA Group Accountant will have;

  • Part Qualified or actively studying
  • Local Authority experience
  • Housing Revenue Accounts
  • Treasury Management
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Ability to provide leadership and advice to the team on accounts.
