p>My client is looking for a Enterprise Architect with the following:

Principal responsibilities

The Core Banking Lead Enterprise Architect is responsible for Leading, defining and maintaining the technology strategy and implementation roadmap for Core Banking. This includes leading the definition of strategy for the modernisation of the technology estate. Their primary stakeholders are CIO's, Platform Leads, COO/CTOs, Business colleagues, and fellow Architects (Enterprise, Platform and Portfolio).

The accountabilities are defining, owning and maintaining the enterprise architecture blueprint aligned to the bank's strategies, and providing overarching Design Authority accountability.

Core deliverables are:

  1. Leading and owning the development and implementation of architecture blueprints (eg strategy, principles, standards, patterns & roadmaps)
  2. Engaging with their primary stakeholders to influence strategic investment decisions and technology outcomes
  3. Introducing new ways of working, products and services and/or technology capability against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies
  4. Providing design authority for technology and design decisions and leadership of architectural governance and controls
  5. Leading and developing a small team of Enterprise Architects
  6. Identifying opportunities and threats in the technology industry and articulating potential impacts to Core Banking

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Proven experience of building scaled solutions with the consideration of quality attributes as a primary rather than secondary consideration
  2. Identify key system architecture components, propose and help teams build solutions that unblock deployments.
  3. Ability to interact at executive level within the business as well as Technology is critical to the success of this role
  4. Capability to influence and champion new ideas and technical direction within the organization
  5. An excellent communicator with ability to translate strategies, planned and managed approaches, methods and tools and operational plans globally.
  6. Excellent stakeholder management - deliver a highly effective cross-functional leadership across diverse populations, regions and markets globally building strong working, effective stakeholder relationships and engagement across all teams.
  7. Excellent Leadership and Teamwork - educate, inspire, motivate and mentor teams, creating a sense of community amongst the disparate members of the technical areas
  8. Demonstrates strong resilience and tenacity with highly effective influencing, persuading and negotiating skills.
  9. Accustomed to managing a high level of ambiguity across geographies, markets, products and services and delivering clear decisions and direction
