Next Ventures is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for an Oracle Cloud Programme in the UK.



Start Date: February

Location: United Kingdom (remote working)

Rate: Negotiable (outside IR35)

Duration: 6 months + ext



Role

  • Define, plan and deliver business analysis activities to meet project objectives
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and context
  • Define and agree project scope
  • Support benefits definition
  • Translate business needs into user requirements and models which will drive the options for business and technological change
  • Map and analyse high-level business processes to reduce complexity and identify process improvements
  • Manage and prioritise user requirements, and develop models for use in the procurement process
  • Assess external supplier solution proposals (including Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents) for value and opportunities, demonstrating which proposal will be the most effective in meeting business needs
  • Collaborate with the business stakeholders and the project team to identify and assess solution options, and select an ERP/HCM solution that will meet the organization s needs and deliver benefits
  • Contribute to solution implementation planning

Capabilities

Essential


  • Highly proficient Business Analysis skills, minimum Senior Business Analyst level
  • Experience of leading Business Analysis activities on large high-profile strategic projects and programmes
  • Oracle Cloud ERP implementation experience as Business Analyst, including in initial stages of solution selection and procurement
  • Experience of working on HR or Finance projects with solutions from one of the ERP market leaders, e.g. Oracle Financials/HR, SAP, etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organisational levels.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in the ERP/HCM space.
