We are heading up a recruitment drive for a global consultancy that require a SAP Transportation Management Consultant to join them on a major project that's based in Uxbridge/Schengen Area.

Job Title - SAP Transportation Management Consultant
Day Rate - 627
Location - Uxbridge/Schengen Area (Mainly Remote)
iR35 determination - Inside
Duration - 6 months

Travel to Schengen-area for occasional workshop expected on average every 3-4 weeks for a period of 2-3 days

Nationality Requirements NA, but must have Right to work in the UK/visa to travel within Schengen

Travel expenses allowed to be claimed on top of agreed rate

The role requires below soft and hard skills as part of daily working for the role of Transportation Lead for end client's programme.

As part of the job day-to-day working the candidate needs to have the below:

Soft Skills:

Constant interaction with the client, handling workshops, requirement gathering & analysis/evaluation

Ability to distribute time b/w status discussion and regular project work.

Ability to discuss and write Solution and Functional Design Document

Ability to interact with the client and get the approvals for documents

Ability to write and get the configuration document signed-off,

Ability to evaluate the test scripts and write them as well,

Ability to hand-hold client during show and tell workshops as well during various testing and go-live phase

Understanding and ability to take forward the SAP TM global templates for the client.

Ability to work along with the offshore teams and guide them from time to time on both hard and soft deliverables.

Hard Skills:

Expert level skill in various functional areas of SAP TM which are:

Usage of DRF+ for master data replication,

Adept in Strategic Freight Procurement,

Requirement Integration b/w S/4HANA and Decentral TM,

Understand and work on sales order scheduling and incompatibilities, ability to work on advanced SAP TM planning functionalities such as Map, Gantt, Manual and Optimizer based planning

Ability to work on interfaces b/w TM planning and customs tool and 3PLs using interfaces,

Knowledge of TM-BN4L integration ( Freight Collaboration, Global Track & Trace, Dispute Management ),

Knowledge of TM-EWM integration and interaction, knowledge of PPF using SAP TM

Adept in Transport Charge Calculation and its Master Data, Freight Settlement (Self-Billing and Invoice Verification) and vendor payment as well as customer billing.

Ability to handle enhancements in TM Optimizer and TCM engine of SAP TM from functional point of view.
