About the role:

We re looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to join the team. You ll be designing and developing websites, integrations, and web services that meet the user needs of current and prospective tenants, employees, partners, investors, and local government.

You ll be working with different technologies, across multiple digital products, including our housing services for residents and our homeownership marketing and sales services.

You ll be working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside product managers, developers, designers, and user researchers at MTVH and our partner agencies.

This is a hands-on coding role, where you ll be working with technologies like:

  • Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Sidekiq and JavaScript
  • PostgreSQL, Redis, and MSSQL
  • Git, AWS, Docker

What you'll need to succeed:

You

  • have experience developing in Ruby on Rails (minimum 4 years+ experience) and the other technologies we use
  • are comfortable in a highly collaborative and communicative workplace and keen to share skills and knowledge with our team
  • enjoy writing high-quality maintainable software collaboratively
  • are motivated to develop great user-focused digital services
  • are passionate about learning new technologies
