As the Senior Cyber Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in helping a large manufacturing company integrate security and cyber resilience into their connected digital solutions and operations.



You will partner with our IT Solutions and Enterprise IT teams, providing expert guidance on "Secure by Design" principles throughout the entire solution lifecycle.



You will:




  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, secure architectures, and best practices for deploying secure systems at scale.

  • Guide engineering teams through security assurance journeys, identifying testing regimes aligned with product needs.

  • Provide consultation, conduct security reviews, and contribute to the development of secure architectural practices.

  • Influence senior stakeholders and champion secure development principles.

  • Share your expertise through security training, outreach, and guidance for internal teams.



What you bring:




  • Experience in cybersecurity with a focus on secure product design, vulnerability management, and testing.

  • Strong background in software engineering and DevSecOps principles.

  • Deep understanding of application security threat modeling and risk management.

  • Ideally proven experience securing connected, edge, and IoT solutions.

  • Experience with business and customer-facing application security.

  • Familiarity with SDLC processes, technology, and automation in a DevOps environment (ideally using OWASP best practices).

  • Experience with security architecture in agile delivery frameworks.

  • Expertise in web applications, backend services, API design, access management, authorization, authentication, data protection, and encryption.

  • Understanding of IoT device communication/network technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, etc.).

  • Experience with application security of MS D365, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP.

  • Solid understanding of common application and infrastructure security vulnerabilities and mitigations.

  • Technical foundation (Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent) and a business-savvy mindset.

  • Experience deploying global solutions in cloud platforms like Azure/AWS.
