Our Life and Pensions client require a Senior Actuary to help support on an exciting project for an initial 6-month contract.

Skills required:

• A qualified actuary with demonstrable post-qualification experience in the industry
• Knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing insurance companies
• Up to date knowledge of Solvency II requirements, Internal Models and Model Change Applications
• Good understanding of the operation of a with profits life company, sufficient to challenge and understand information provided by the actuarial and finance teams
• Management and team leadership skills
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
• Relationship building across teams and functions up to Board level
• Self-starter with ability to achieve challenging objectives within tight timescales
