Job Description:

We are seeking a talented WPF / Full Stack Contractor to join our London-based team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and maintain our existing e-trading application during its transition from WPF to ReactJS. This is a unique opportunity that offers a mix of maintaining a legacy system while also playing a significant role in the development of a new, strategically important React frontend and backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the existing WPF-based e-trading application.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement a new frontend in ReactJS.
• Contribute to the development of a strategic backend, ensuring robustness, scalability, and integration with the new frontend.
• Work across the full stack of the platform, handling both frontend and backend tasks.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the applications.
• Diagnose and fix bugs, and provide technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration and implementation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in WPF.
• Experience in developing e-trading or similar financial applications.
• Proficiency in ReactJS and modern frontend technologies.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and database systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
