Newly created role for a globally recognised brand with presence in over 12 countries. Your role will be varied and consist of project work e.g. supporting site moves, in-person desktop support for users and finally remote support for both users and retail stores. EPOS experience is essential.


Location: 3 or 4 days a week on-site in Surrey. Will be 2 or 3 days once settled in.


Rate: 275 315 inside IR35


Duration: 6 months.


Responsibilities at IT Support Engineer



  • Hands-on support across a predominantly Microsoft envrionment (Windows 11, Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams and some application support)

  • VIP Support and involvement in project work. Walk ups, floor walks and tech bar support required.

  • Maintains a good service level for the users and business by establishing and enforcing organization standards, and communicates the main standard KPIs on a regular basis

  • Guarantees the IT alignment between local business and global IT Strategy (think Global and act local)

  • Work with Group IT teams to align on requirements to deliver a successful outcome

  • Supports and monitors the global projects roadmap agreed with the global IT organization and at local level with the IT & Project Delivery Manager


Expectations as IT Support Engineer



  • Min 4+ years in IT Support

  • Confident 2nd Line Support, ideally with some app support experience.

  • IT experience in a strong Microsoft environment (Windows 11, Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams)

  • Leadership, high sense of service and strong business orientation
