Your Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for joining one of four specialised Children in Care (CIC) teams, focusing on care proceedings, Looked After Children (LAC), and permanence.
- Your role includes ensuring that all Looked After Children receive the essential support and services, enabling them to flourish in stable, nurturing, and healthy environments conducive to realising their full potential.
- As a Social Worker in the CIC/Child Protection team, you will be responsible for executing Section 47 assessments and actively engaging in court-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
- Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
- Post-qualified experience ideally across Children in Care and/or Child protection
- Clear, Enhanced DBS
- Full, clear driving license
