This is a Manchester based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to contribute to our Clients team and take ownership of technical elements, tech stack, products, and processes. Forefront of innovation, and we are on the lookout for individuals who are eager to make an impact in the ever-evolving tech landscape. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing technical solutions aligned with business requirements, demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship in your deliverables.

Requirements of Special Knowledge and Skills:

• P3 - Proficient at building software applications
• P2 - Experience in End to End System Ownership
• P2 - Experience in Software Systems Design
• P2 - Familiar with Architectural Guidance
• P2 - Experience in Technical Incident Management
• P2 - Experience in Technical Leadership
• P2 - Experience in effective Communication
• P2 - Experience in continuous quality improvement
• P3 - Proficient in critical thinking

Tools and Technologies:

• Java, PHP, React, Spring, (Must haves)
• Frontend experience (good to have)
• AWS Cloudwatch

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building software application
• Utilizes relevant development language
• Applies knowledge of systems, services, and tools appropriate for the business are
• Writes readable and reusable code using standard patterns and libraries
• Refactors and simplifies code by introducing design patterns when necessary
• Ensures application quality through standard testing techniques and methods adhering to the test strategy
• Maintains data security, integrity, and quality by following company standards and best practice
• Possesses sufficient knowledge to own a service end to end
• Actively monitors application health and performance
• Sets and monitors relevant metrics
• Acts accordingly when metrics are violated
